A warm welcome to the Wisconsin Association of School Nurses website. WASN is a nonprofit educational organization consisting of registered professional nurses who work in Wisconsin private, public and charter schools. We are school health experts interfacing between the health care system and schools. Our association’s mission is to “support and advance the practice of professional school nurses in Wisconsin in order to enhance the health, safety and educational success of students." WASN is here to strengthen our members and to meet their professional needs. We continue to evolve, adapt and respond to the challenges that school nurses face.
WASN needs ALL School Nurses, whether seasoned or a millennial!!! We tremendously value each of your special talents, experiences, insights and gifts. Individually we can accomplish great things but collectively we can make a bigger impact to address the school health of Wisconsin children and support the school nursing practice throughout our beautiful state.
