This program is open to anyone interested in the care of school children. The WASN District 1 school nurse professionals, in collaboration with WCTC, bring you this professional development program.

The purpose for this program is to:
• Discover risk taking behaviors of school age children and teens that effect health and learning
outcomes
• Describe trends in sexual risk taking behaviors and strategies for improving health outcomes
associated with these trends
• Explain how health is impacted by technology use and approaches to minimize these effects
• Discuss your questions with an expert panel and obtain resources for health room staff and parents
