Hi, I'm Kelly Barlow-Eichman, a registered nurse with a deep passion for healthcare and a commitment to my community. I spent one year as a labor and delivery nurse, and for the past 11 years, I've had the privilege of working as a school nurse. It’s incredibly rewarding to support the health and well-being of students in the same district where my four children—ages 15, 12, 11, and 8—attend school.
I’m currently furthering my education at Alverno College in Milwaukee, WI, where I’m pursuing my goal of becoming a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I recognized the critical need for mental health services, particularly post-COVID, and I’m eager to make a positive impact in this field.
In addition to my nursing career, I serve as the Volunteer Chair on the Board for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation - WI Chapter, advocating for myself and others affected by these conditions. I also have the honor of being the immediate past president of the Wisconsin Association of School Nurses, where I worked to support and elevate the role of school nursing in our state from 2020-2024.
When I find a little time for myself, I love to read, especially mysteries and thrillers. I'm currently impatiently awaiting the release of the 10th and final book in the Outlander Series.
